The HankTwister is an electric yarn hank twister allowing Indie Yarn Dyers to twist their hanks without effort, giving them a uniform and professional look.
The direction of rotation is selectable with a switch located at the back of the device. The HankTwister can be used in three different modes: (1) Press & Hold, where you trigger the rotation by pressing and holding the footswitch, then stop it by releasing the footswitch (2) Nb. of Revolutions, where you select the number of revolutions and trigger the movement by pressing the footswitch (3) Tap On/Tap Off, where you trigger the rotation by pressing the footswitch, then stop it with the same action.
This electrical hank twister is provided with all the accessories you may need: a 75mm (3″) hook, a 12VDC/3A power supply, two table Clamps and few hexagonal keys. You will have to install the hook and the table clamps yourself using the provided tools, as explained in the Instruction for Use. The minimal and maximal opening of the table clamps are, respectively, 15mm and 45mm (about 5/8″ and 1-3/4″).
This product has been tested and found compliant with the requirements of United States and Canadian regulation bodies, respectively the FCC and ICES.
The HankTwister is designed and assembled by hand, in limited quantity, in Montréal, Québec, Canada.

Le HankTwister est l’outil idéal pour la teinturière ou le teinturier pour twister ses écheveaux. Il permet d’obtenir des écheveaux uniformes, professionnels et alléchants pour l’oeil de vos clientes et clients.
Vous pouvez choisir le sens de rotation à l’aide d’un interrupteur situé à l’arrière de l’appareil. Le HankTwister a trois modes d’utilisation: (1) Press & Hold, où le crochet tourne tant que vous appuyez sur la pédale (2) Nb. of Revolutions, où le nombre de rotation est programmé à l’aide d’un bouton rotatif et le mouvement est activé en appuyant sur la pédale. Vous pouvez aussi interrompre le mouvement en appuyant à nouveau sur la pédale (3) Tap On/Tap Off, où le mouvement est activé en appuyant sur la pédale et ne sera interrompu que lorsque vous appuierez à nouveau.
Nous fournissons les accessoires nécessaires à son fonctionnement, c’est à dire un crochet de 75mm (3″), une alimentation électrique 12VDC/3A, un footswitch, deux attaches pour table et des clé hexagonale. Vous devrez assembler le crochet et les attaches pour table à la réception, selon le Manuel d’Utilisation fourni avec l’appareil. L’ouverture minimale et maximale des attaches pour tables sont, respectivement, 15mm et 45mm (environ 5/8″ et 1-3/4″).
Ce produit a été testé et démontré conforme avec les requis des agences de régulation américaine et canadienne, soit respectivement la FCC et l’ICES.
